What is Nutrition Response Testing?
Nutritional Response Testing is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body’s organ functions to determine underlying causes of health conditions. This system utilizes muscle testing to analyze the body for toxicities and deficiencies.
How does Nutrition Response Testing work?
Nutrition Response Testing does not require any bloodwork, needles, or anything other than a light pressure on your arm and reflex points. Using your body’s own natural reflexes, we are able to determine how your nervous system reacts to different foods, immune challenges, heavy metals, chemicals, and even scars. Through this system we can also identify what specific nutrition your body needs. As we see what issues your body has, we can develop a personalized plan to unlock the optimal you.
What issues can benefit from Nutrition Response Testing?
Autism
ADHD / Behavior Issues
Mood Disorders
Sleep Difficulties
Anxiety
Depression
Thyroid issues
Body and joint pain
Chronic fatigue
Weight Issues
Digestive abnormalities
Food allergies
Autoimmune diseases
Diabetes Type I & II
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Menopause
Infertility
Fibromyalgia
How long does a session take?
The initial diagnostic session will take 60-90 minutes. Repeat Nutritional Response Testing sessions are used to gauge improvement and make any adjustments needed in your supplementation. Follow up visits are generally 10-15 minutes, or less.
Other modalities used at bfm that complement nutrition response testing:
Allergy Relief Technique: Are you struggling with allergies to pollen, food, or pets? Have you tried medications, supplements, avoidance strategies, or highly restrictive diets—only to remain frustrated by a body that feels overly sensitive? The Allergy Relief Technique offers a different approach. This powerful, non-invasive acupressure tapping method is designed to help reduce hypersensitivity reactions at their source. The technique combines muscle testing with targeted acupressure to help calm the body’s overreaction to specific triggers. Its developer, Dr. Charles Eugene, describes allergies as a “physiological phobia”—a physical response that is out of proportion to the actual stimulus. The Allergy Relief Technique works to interrupt this overreaction, helping the body respond more appropriately and comfortably.
Chance Hypothalamus Reset Technique: The Hypothalamus is called the brain of the brain, and therefore controls the whole body. Lack of nutrition and environmental stressors cause the hypothalamus to "short-circuit," preventing it from communicating effectively with the rest of the body. The Chance Hypothalamus Reset Technique is performed with a combination of muscle testing, reflex points, and tapping to bring the hypothalamus back into good communication with the rest of the body, thus enhancing function. Just look at the list below to see all that the Hypothalamus controls, and why it would be important to have it function at it's peak!

thyroid and adrenal regulation
